Frequently asked questions
Will I get the guest's email and phone from Airbnb or Booking?
No. Airbnb, Booking.com and Vrbo all anonymize guest contact information in their iCal feeds — that's a platform restriction, not ours. Imported reservations are created with a placeholder guest; the real identity is captured when the guest opens their check-in link and uploads their ID document. Booking.com goes one step further: its calendar sends occupied days rather than reservations, without telling bookings from blocks and merging back-to-back stays into a single block. From the dashboard you mark each block as a real reservation, split it into separate stays or dismiss it as a block.
How often does HazCheckin pull the feeds?
Every hour by default, plus a manual Sync now button per feed in the dashboard. If a reservation needs to be processed faster, hit Sync now and it lands in seconds.
Is there an extra cost per integration?
No. iCal sync is included in every plan that supports the Integrations module. Add as many feeds per property as you need. PMS connections carry no integration fee on our side either; the only cost is your own subscription to the PMS.
Are imported reservations reported to SES.HOSPEDAJES?
Yes. Once the guest completes the check-in (identity, document, signature), HazCheckin generates the parte de viajeros and submits it to SES.HOSPEDAJES exactly like any direct booking — with no extra steps.
How is a PMS connection different from iCal calendars?
iCal only carries dates; connecting your PMS (Guesty, Lodgify, Cloudbeds, Smoobu, Hostaway, Mews or Amenitiz) uses its official API and brings every reservation on its own with the guest's details (name, email and phone), so the check-in link is sent automatically. If your property has many short back-to-back stays, we recommend connecting the PMS: Booking.com's calendar sends occupied days rather than reservations, merges back-to-back stays into a single block and can't tell bookings from blocks, so with iCal you'll confirm or split each block from the dashboard.
