Connect your system to the HazCheckin API
Create bookings from your own software and let HazCheckin tell you when the guest finishes check-in, when the traveller registry accepts the report and when the key is ready.
What you can do
One API for bookings, check-in, traveller registration and access, the same for every registry and every lock.
Bookings from your system
Create, update and cancel bookings with your own identifier. Repeating a request never duplicates the booking.
Check-in in real time
Know which guests have completed check-in and when the whole booking is done.
Traveller registration status
Pending, accepted or error, with the reason. The same format for SES.Hospedajes, Mossos d'Esquadra, Ertzaintza and Alloggiati Web.
Conditional key
Hand over the lock code only once check-in and the traveller registration are complete, with our locks or with your own system.
Signed webhooks
Receive every change at your URL, signed so you can verify the sender, with automatic retries if your system doesn't answer.
Access control
One key per system, revocable at any time. The technical documentation lives in your dashboard, behind sign-in.
How it works
- 1
Create your API key
From the dashboard, under Integrations. Add the URL where you want to receive notifications.
- 2
Send your bookings
HazCheckin sends the check-in link to the guest and reports the booking to the traveller registry.
- 3
Receive the events
Your system reacts to each step: check-in completed, report accepted or access ready.
Some of the events you receive
- booking.created
- booking.checkin_completed
- registration.reservation.accepted
- registration.travellers.accepted
- registration.travellers.rejected
- access.ready
Every event carries the full booking with the state of check-in, registration and access.
Included in the Enterprise plan
The API and webhooks are part of the Enterprise plan, together with the custom domain, unlimited team and dedicated support.
Frequently asked questions
Which plan includes the API?
The API and webhooks are included in the Enterprise plan. With the plan active, any organisation admin can create keys from the dashboard.
Which traveller registries does it work with?
SES.Hospedajes, Mossos d'Esquadra, the Ertzaintza's Registro Hostelero and Alloggiati Web. The API returns the status in the same format for all of them, so your integration doesn't change by region or country.
Can I manage the locks from my own system?
Yes. You can let HazCheckin create the access on the lock and read the code through the API, or generate the code yourself with your provider once you're notified that check-in and the traveller registration are complete.
Where is the technical documentation?
In the HazCheckin dashboard, under Integrations, with the integration guide and the OpenAPI specification available to download. If you're evaluating the API before subscribing, write to us and we'll send you the guide as a PDF.
Want to integrate HazCheckin with your system?
Tell us about your case and we'll send you the integration guide.
