The HazCheckin app is now on the App Store and Google Play

You don’t run an accommodation sitting at a desk. You run it at the door with a guest waiting, in the car between one property and the next, or at eleven at night when a last-minute booking lands. That’s why today we’re announcing something we’ve been building for months: the HazCheckin app is now available on the App Store and Google Play, free and for every customer.

It isn’t a trimmed-down dashboard. It’s the part of the job that actually happens away from the desk.

Your bookings, in your hand

The home screen is the one you’ll use every day: today’s arrivals and departures, upcoming stays and guests in house, with each booking’s status in plain sight — including whether the report has already been validated by the authorities.

From there you open the booking and get the whole stay: dates, nights, guest count, source channel, property and the check-in status of every traveller. If something’s missing, you fix it right there.

On-site check-in, with the document scanned

This is the part that changes the day the most: you can register a guest at the property itself, with your phone or a tablet, scanning their document with the camera. The fields fill themselves in, the guest signs, and the report goes off to the right authority without you touching a computer.

It works with every authority we already support: SES.HOSPEDAJES, Mossos d’Esquadra in Catalonia, the Ertzaintza in the Basque Country and Alloggiati Web in Italy. Same submission the dashboard makes, same validations, same deadlines.

Alerts when something needs you

Guest reporting has legal deadlines, and the real risk isn’t getting it wrong: it’s not finding out in time. The app notifies you on your phone when a booking needs something from you — a missing phone or email needed to report the booking within 24 hours, an incomplete check-in, a rejected submission.

And your properties and their legal setup

Your whole portfolio, with status and capacity, plus each property’s legal configuration: the credentials for its authority, establishment and landlord codes, and the rest of the settings that make submissions work.

Getting started

1. Download HazCheckin on the App Store or Google Play.
2. Sign in with your usual account.
3. That’s it: your properties, bookings and guests are already there. Nothing to set up.

Not a customer yet? You can create your account from the app itself and try HazCheckin for 15 days.

A note on how we built it

Two decisions you might care about. First: document scanning runs on the phone itself, not on a server. Second: the app speaks Spanish, English and Italian, and switches on its own to match your phone’s language.
